WMC, Inc. is a "multi-craft" commercial and industrial "mechanical-prime" contracting company.

Led by a team with vast amounts of combined experience, WMC has the capability of performing work in the most demanding of environments.

WMC, Inc. is a service and safety-oriented company with an emphasis on quality installations and long-term commitment to our clients. WMC, Inc. was formed twenty years ago around individuals who had worked together for eight years prior to forming WMC. This long history and the mutual experiences of our staff give WMC a unique edge, as compared to many of our competitors. It has also been a factor in the successful development of strong relationships with regional vendors, labor unions, and engineering firms.

WMC, Inc. specializes in commercial and industrial construction and has worked extensively in the fields of, institutional, hospital-HVAC and plumbing, power generation/heavy industry, munitions disposal and demolition, chemical, petroleum food grade manufacturing, and military installations.

WMC strives to produce the best and highest quality work on our projects. We demand that our systems are put in straight, true, and plumb and our field supervision and crews understand this is our standard. We insist that our field supervisors and tradesmen be the best trained and qualified for the work they perform. The systems we install are done so in accordance with recognized construction codes and standards like ASME B31.1.and B31.3. What is your firms experience with projects up to $100,000.00 in value that involve the new construction, replacement, or repair of existing systems?

In order to most efficiently serve our clients, WMC, Inc. has developed into a multi-craft employer. WMC, Inc. regularly self-performs the vast majority of the project scope. We have found by doing so, this allows our company to provide our clients with a quick response time, more efficient control of labor and scheduling while increasing the safety and quality of the project. This lowers cost especially for smaller project work scopes. WMC, Inc. requires that even small projects are assigned a project manager, thus assuring a single point of contact for the client, and providing a knowledgeable team member who is constantly in touch with the day to day operations and status of the project. WMC, Inc. believes that by providing strong leadership and a team willing and ready to perform a high standard of work, we can quickly deliver the quality, experience, and lower the clients cost. Our service technicians are experienced and operate with minimum management guidance on small projects to lower service and maintenance costs.

What is your firm's experience with projecting complete costs for the actual repair or replacement of work prior to the start of a project?

WMC, Inc. provides an experienced team of individuals to estimate the work scope for all prospective projects. Besides higher education and vocational training many of our estimators have gained their experience through repairing and replacing work first hand. This allows the estimators a greater understanding of the cost of the planned work, whether its repairs, retrofits or unusual work scopes that have no developed estimating means. WMC, Inc. utilizes several software estimating programs to develop reasonable and accurate estimates in conjunction with our construction experience. WMC, Inc. has a long history with the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA), The Builders Association and International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers.
